I came to Jackie as an adult brass player interested in learning flute as a second instrument. Jackie is pleasant to work with, organized, prompt and very encouraging. I am amazed at her knowledge of flute literature and the appropriate stylistic approach to each genre. I appreciate the tools she has given me to work out difficult passages and I always feel a sense of accomplishment when I work through a difficult solo or etude. My lesson with Jackie is always the highlight of my week. I have taken lessons with many teachers and Jackie is one of the best.

Ms. Jackie is an astounding teacher and flutist. Her attention to detail and musicality is impeccable. Within minutes of our first lesson, she opened up my sound and completely changed the way I played. She inspires me everyday to push myself to become a better flutist!

Ms.Jackie is a wonderful teacher. She was the first private flute teacher I ever had. She set me up for success from the very beginning. Even though I am a college student now, I still feel comfortable going to her for advice if i need it.
