KOEI-KAN KARATE SANTA BARBARA

Operating in Santa Barbara, California since 1981, the Academy of Koei-Kan Karate-Do is steeped in tradition, tracing it's roots back to the original styles of Okinawan Karate. Brought to the United States by Edward Kaloudis, in 1954, with the permission of its Koei-Kan founder Kancho Eizo Onishi, the Academy is part of an International network of Karate Dojos. Traditional Martial Arts practice enables individuals to have a true sense of personal growth without the emphasis on competition. The primary focus is to give one the opportunity to build inner strength and leadership skills that allows one to stand out amongst their peers. The confidence gained from Karate-Do will enhance both self-esteem and self-image.
