Piano Teacher for the past 38 years, 3 years teaching Music at Holy Innocents Catholic School, 7 years of teaching at Macomb Community College's Summer Piano Workshops. Teacher, Member, Chair, Board Member and Judge for the following: National Guild of Piano Teachers National Federation of Music Clubs Michigan Music Association American Guild of Musicians Vivace Music Club MAC OPEN Competitions I love to share my passion of music with my students and excite them about it too. I offer many opportunities all year round to participate in recitals, workshops, ensemble rehearsals, Piano Olympics, Christmas in July, master classes, auditions and competitions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Music from Oakland University. National Guild of Piano Teachers High School Diploma in 1984. One of the youngest piano teachers to be put in the National Guild of Piano Teachers Hall of Fame.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My students usually win the overall awards at all the competitions we attend, both piano and vocal.
We have had the MAC OPEN Fall Classic World Series Champ every single year in its existence. We have many Open Winners at the Michigan Music Association Competition each year, and Overall Vocal Winners at AGM.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure your teacher is a good fit for your child. We are here to inspire their love of music, not discourage them. So find the right teacher that works with you and your child.
