Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first day I just want to see what they do best on there own. We go through the basic by splitting the court in 3's and working our way around.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a professional athlete myself playing football. I coach girls Varsity basketball for woodhaven high school as well as a national 3rd grade basketball team who are now 5th graders and a National 17U team we travel all over playing high level basketball. I've played professional football and when I wasn't on a team I played basketball in Pro Ams and I learn the game at a greater level from pro and college coaches.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure it's someone you feel comfortable with and actually has a passion for teaching and coaching.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make sure you evaluate your game honestly so we have a idea of what route to go with our session. This has to be something you want not something your parents are making you do. If I have to motivate you to get better at the sport you say you love them this is not the sport you focus on.
