About
Hello, fellow art lover! I am eager to make your aquaitence. So, you know, I AM an artist and art educator. I have a degree in fine art with a concentration in drawing. I have possess a certification in art, grades K-12, and I have taught the elementary, middle and high school levels in Port Huron for over 21 years. In addition to this, I was an adjunct instructor at Saginaw Valley State University for two years. Lastly, I have extensive background in doing art lessons with young artists and older students (and all of "us" who line in the other ages) in addition to teaching paint classes for the last couple years.
My passion is to afford the opportunity see art as a vehicle of personal expression as well as an integral part world. Not everyone aspires to be an “artist.” Nonetheless, we all deserve the opportunity to find an alteratative outlet of what will bring to mind the expressive and universally connective language of visual thinking. I want artists, young and old, limited or extensive ability, to find that artist within and the gratification from exploring the arts.
I can help you get what you want to attian that self-efficacy, personal gratification and those endorphin rushes that will make your heart sing. You can opt to talk about whatever medium, subject matter or technique may spark your interest. Even if you are not aware of what you want to pursue, I can help you find your own unique artist.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before starting on an area of concentration, I feel it is imperative to know what the artist is wanting. Conversations, looking at examples, simple q&a will be included with an informal assessment to fully provide what the artist is wanting to accomplish.
