As a full-time freelance photographer and videographer, I offer rigorous lessons and industry mentorship best suited to those with a professional interest or with a deep passion for learning this craft.

Depending upon your availability for lessons and practice, my complete curriculum lasts about a year and typically looks like this:

•Lesson 1: Intro and Overview

•Lesson 2-4: Camera & Lens basic functions

•Lessons 5-8: Applied Craft

•Lessons 9-12: Art and History of Photography

•Lessons 13-15: Essential Editing

•Lessons 16-19: Advanced Applied Craft and Critique

•Lessons 20+: Mentorship & Development

There is an enormous amount to learn so my goal is to give you the foundation to be able to continue teaching yourself, knowing what matters and what questions to pursue.

    Ive completed my second lesson with Jee and I have to say Im really excited in continuing. His structured teaching is very welcomed and comforting. I am a visual and hands on learner and he very much accommodates this learning style. He meets you where you are in your photography knowledge and goes from there. From sharing lots of helpful how to information and tips for my beginners level, to answering all questions, and giving homework assignments related to what was discussed. I have a ways to go, but Im definitely feeling more confident taking photos after just these two lessons. Looking forward to lesson three.

    I started working with Jee right when COVID hit, so we have been having virtual photography lessons. That didnt stop Jee from teaching me everything from the basics of the functions of a camera and the technical aspects all the way to photo review, composition, lighting, and photo editing. Ive had 8 classes with him now, and I have gone from not knowing how to use my new Canon camera to being able to share professional-looking pictures with friends and family. I look forward to continuing online lessons with him and keep improving!

    I have taken 4 weeks of photography lessons with Jee before which I had no prior experience.
    He was extremely helpful from the start helping me pick out a really good camera for beginners, fairly priced. He is presently teaching me the technical aspects of photography and incorporates practical aspects within the lessons... which means we go out and do pics together during which he also gives helpful tips, advice and explanations.
