Of course it takes a bit to ascertain where the students talents are, and try to try to approach a variety of issues with an encouraging attitude. I like seeing a student perform something I've taught them, but really I just enjoy imparting my knowledge on the subject of music and violin/fiddle playing. I know all the pieces that are "winners" but am good at creating a good technique as well as an interesting repertoire.
