About

I started playing baseball probably around the same time that I could walk and I have always been one of the top players in my age group. I played traveling baseball for Eagan every year it was available from about 4th grade to 8th; I played in-house little league ball for all of the years before that, I played one year of high school ball, and then I played in-house baseball through the rest of high school. I have played softball almost every year since then.

I was on the A-team or best team available every year that I played, and was in the top 3 of team stats nearly every year as well. I pitched a full game no-hitter in the championship game of one of my in-house baseball years and I was the first kid in my age group to hit a home run over the fence.

I have been to many of the best camps in the state and trained with some of the best players out there including a few retired Twins players.

I know many different ways to train and learn the game of baseball and its many fundamentals.

And it would be flat-out fun to show people the game.

Baseball is fun. Baseball is a huge huge part of me and to be able to share some of my gift and the great deal of experience that I have with the game is one of the most rewarding things I can be a part of.

    Frequently asked questions

First lesson we will meet up and play some baseball for fun doing some simple things like playing catch and maybe some pitching or a little bit of batting practice. These are fun simple things that will give me a chance to see the player a little bit and for us to get to know and get comfortable with one another a little bit. While doing these simple baseball activities I can then get to learn some from the player what sorts of things he or she likes about baseball or maybe what they may like to work on. Then once I get a good clear understanding of the player and their goals I can begin to create lesson plans that we can keep going back to over time.

I trained and played on the top teams in my age group in a big city for baseball from 4th grade through 9th grade. I trained at a well-known Montessori school that Kirby Puckett Jr. went to for the years prior to that and I attended many different well-known camps for the sport over the years as well. I have played for a total of about 24 years, including from about the age of 3 or 4 until now.

15$ per hour. These are the first lessons I have ever formally given so I want to start the cost small and really have some fun getting to learn the process and getting to build some relationships and experiences with people.

After I have had some lessons I will probably begin to raise the price a little bit to around 30-40$ per hour.

You know, I have sort of always wanted to teach and train baseball. Ever since I graduated college and was working my first professional job out of school, from about the age of 23 or 24 I have thought about doing it and I am finally getting around to it. I tutored Chemistry in college as well but I think this is a little bit different.

I have worked with mostly my friends who were kids who played mostly in in-house which was the level below where I normally played.

And then I have worked with a couple of my sister's nanny kids a couple of times. They were quite young, I believe around like 9 and 5 years old.

Honestly signing up for this site. I am really looking forward to doing this and it is a great feeling to think of planning all of the lessons and stuff to do this well.

Ask the teacher what their experience is. There should be a ton of players out there who have had tons of playing and practice experience and who are also really good who has played on the top teams throughout their careers, and then make sure you can chat with them first to make sure you are comfortable with them and that you would really have fun with them.

What are your goals in baseball?

Who are some of your favorite baseball players? Why do you like them in particular?
