    I rarely endorse anything on any social media outlet...
    However, I have had the privilege of knowing Kent Reed of FastpitchPros for many years and he and his programs are not the “standard “ cookie-cutter programs.
    He is very effective and cutting edge.
    The thing that I find most interesting is how he has worked with various experts in other fields to enhance and optimize true mechanics without injury.

    Kent Reed is one of the best pitching coaches in the South Metro. His attention to detail and ability to work with girls of all ages and skill level is incredible.
    He does not focus on throwing countless pitches to a parent sitting on a bucket but rather he focuses on the mechanics that make great pitchers.
    He teaches the girls how to recognize when they have an area to improve on and pushes them to be AMAZING.
    He breaks down their throwing motion into small manageable sections, explains it in ways they can understand and he works towards putting it all together in the end.
    He looks for girls that want to work hard and get better and he finds a way to make them successful.
    I have coached softball and been around the game for 15 plus years and have worked with many young pitchers, but Kent Reed takes the girls to that next level!!

    Kent Reed Pitching continues to develop a revolutionary sports training program called “Video Brain Training” (VBT), which breaks down the player’s mechanics into teachable “puzzle pieces”.  

    Unlike most “pitching coaches” who learned how to pitch from a former pitcher, who learned from a former pitcher, who learned from another former pitcher, and so-on… 

    For more than 13 years, Coach Reed has been learning “how to teach youth softball pitchers” by actually learning “HOW TO TEACH” pitching to youth athletes.

    Then using his knowledge to improve the mechanics of all levels of beginners, intermediate, and advanced pitchers (8U/10U/12U/14U/18U and College).

    Private Lessons Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3-8 pm 

    Mornings, Days, and weekends are available upon request

    In order to guarantee a particular time slot, it's highly recommended that you schedule your player’s time slots asap. 

    However, you are NOT required to select any particular time slot... you can change your time slot every week, depending on your schedule and the time slot availability. 

    Kent recently retired (Sept. 2019) as an 11+ year volunteer at New Prague Fastpitch (NPGFA) where he held the positions of NPGFA volunteer President (6 yrs), a board member for 8 years, member of the NPGFA Softball Development Committee (3 years), and the director of NPGFA pitching clinics (11 yrs)

    Besides providing private pitching lessons for beginners, intermediate, and elite pitchers in Minnesota/Wisconsin, Kent has also directed the winter pitching clinics for Anoka/Ramsey Softball Association (2015-19), Owatonna Fastpitch (2020-current), Midwest Speed Fastpitch (2015-Current), Woodbury Fastpitch (2021-Current)
