About
I love helping students become confident in their abilities to solve problems in math. I have created my tutoring around best practice research that uses hands-on materials and pictues to make math engaging and build student understanding. We also work on good study habits and the willingness to try. My students build self-esteem and critical thinking skills; the path to strong minds and great careers!
I am a professional math teacher and have taught over 1,500 students for more than 16 years in the classroom. I have taught all ages from Kindergarten to high school secious and college students, students with ADD, ADHD, and dyscalculia. I am also a certified math interventionist through Math Recovery.
I enjoy working with students and helping students feel confident in their math abilities along with getting to know each student as an individual person.
