Keiona Cook has over 25 yrs. experience painting and drawing. She has her BFA in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She is the Head Teacher and Owner of Lovely’s Sewing & Arts Collective (LSAC). Keiona has been teaching painting classes for over 5yrs. She does themed painting classes for youth on the weekends and some private lessons during the week. At LSAC we use sewing, yoga, painting and dance to teach patience, focus, leadership and accountability. But we also have loads of fun teaching.
Kids hate to eat their veggies or receive information and this is our way of teaching life skills in a fun and welcoming environment. Come paint with us soon.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
i find out what their strengths are and weaknesses and from there at LSAC we focus on building up their imagination. To help them grow mentally and physically in the world of painting.

$25 per person for group sessions of 5 or more kids
How did you get started teaching?
I always wanted to teach since I was six years old so I became a teacher once I was old enough.

All ages, youth with behavior issues, you name it.

One of the parents called to make sure I would be back from vacation in time for painting class. Talk about my Heart smiling.
