If your learning to create a still life you will create by actual abservation. if you are drawing a portrait , the student will draw from a model. I teach through demonstration so all students can see my methods start to finish

I have a degree in fine arts. Have made my living painting portraits by commission for thirty plus years.
How did you get started teaching?
I have trained many professional and college art students and place them in my seasonal art businesses in popular vacation destinations. I also currently teach grade school and middle school art part time.
