About this pro

Hello my name is Dan and I've been a professional photographer for 35+ years. I have a vast knowledge of all types of photography. I can teach you all about your camera and how to use it to make professional looking photos. My areas of strength are advertising, portraits, and model portfolios. I have won many awards for my photography in National competitions. My instruction is one on one so you can ask any questions and have them answered immediately.

I enjoy working with different people and helping them to advance themselves in the world of photography. I am very patient with my students and make sure they understand what I'm telling them

Dan caters to what you want to learn from photography and is very committed to helping you achieve your goals.

I rarely complain... But I want to change my rating to "Poor." Dan is friendly, knowledgeable and articulate. However, he had an agenda that did NOT include my one and only request to learn the basics of the exposure triangle, (ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed.) After the 2nd time I explained that I wanted to shoot "Manual" only and that I had absolutely no interest in learning how to hold a camera properly, he persisted. He advised me to shoot using "Aperture Priority." The class was longer than either of us anticipated, so I paid him double the agreed price for his time. He promised to send the hand-held shots that I took during our session. Two or three days later, he sent an email stating the files were too large to send via email. In that same email, he canceled our next appointment, claiming he was ill. I haven't heard from him since.

Highly recommend! Dan presents answers to your photography questions in a very helpful and knowledgeable manner. He is more than willing to go out of his way to make sure you understand what should be done for a great picture.

He is very personable and knowledgeable. He listened to what I wanted to learn and took the lesson from there. I will take more lessons from Dan.
