Sarah Biser, Trumpet

As a musician, teacher, and nonprofit enthusiast, I am passionate about equal access to music education. I believe that when art is shared with enthusiasm, flexibility, and joy, it can serve as a tool to provide community, understanding, and personal truth to all.

I enjoy incorporating all forms of art, mindfulness, and creativity into my musical instruction. Not only will you learn skills and artistry techniques on your instrument, but you will gain creative freedom as well.

I graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia with a degree in Trumpet Performance in May of 2021. Throughout college, I taught trumpet students of all skill levels both online and in-person. After graduating, I worked as a trumpet and nature studies teacher at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and then served as a Long-Term Substitute Music Director for Augusta County Public Schools.

In January of 2022, I made a cross-country move from Virginia to the Twin Cities to further pursue my musical career in a much more opportunistic and diverse environment. I'm looking to make lasting and meaningful connections around lowering the price tag on music education, and making it accessible for everyone.
