I have always had a passion for the sport of baseball. I have not only been a fan of watching and playing the sport but I also collect lots of different baseball memoriabilia. I have about 150,000 baseball cards, signed jerseys, baseballs, posters, plaques, cards, pennants, gloves, bats, etc. My friends will be talking about baseball and instantly have my attention. I have a burning passion for the sport and would love to help your child get better in every aspect of the game.

I really enjoy helping a kid who has the love for the game of baseball succeed and get better each and every day. My goal while working with a kid is helping him feel comfortable at the plate, in the field, pitching, etc. I think the best thing about what I do as a coach and trainer is when a kid does something spectacular in a game wether that’s a great play on defense or the game winning hit and they always come back and thank me for helping them reach that level of skill and confidence. I mean let’s be real, every kids dream is to have a tie game, bases loaded, bottom of the last inning, 2 outs, and a chance to be the hero. My goal is to help them with the skill level and knowledge that I have and work with them to grow as a player to achieve that dream scenario and be the hero of the team.

Justin is not only an incredible teacher, but an incredible brother and friend. For years he has helped me develop enough skills to excel at the sport of baseball. He has helped me with everything from quicker bat speed, learning how to play catcher, faster speed for pitching, and quicker hips. You won’t find someone with as much passion as you will with my brother. For 1-1 sessions he is the only trainer as he really likes to be the one in charge and make sure kids don’t move on to something new before really understanding the specific fundamental being taught. When he has a group of 3 or more he has me work with him to help keep kids on track so if your kids have some friends who want to do a training session I highly recommend my brother Justin.

Frequently asked questions

I believe the most important thing about any sport is properly warming up and stretching. I usually will start with a light warm up and throwing session, followed by a talk and seeing how they are feeling and if they are sore and go about the practice that way. I like to start with basic fundamentals wether they are a pitcher, catcher, infielder, outfielder, and keep those up to par and mix in a few things slowly so it’s not too much at once. I will then work with the student/students on batting stance and how to see the ball and judge the timing of the pitch. Each kid has their own batting stance so I don’t like changing somehing they are comfortable with but will help give them pointers on what they could fix to become better. After that I usually have a few options wether that’s extra batting practice, fielding, pitching mechanics, etc. and let them choose what they want to work on and call it a day. When I have more than 1-2 students I will end sometimes with a game that helps them with fundamentals but let’s them enjoy a care free game.

I got started teaching the sport of baseball  by getting asked to help coach my brothers 13AA team when i was 16. It was shocking that I was asked to be the head assistant coach at such a young age but I helped many kids who had talent but not a lot of confidence in themselves into great ball players. After that I took it upon myself to help my brothers teams whenever a kid needed help. I have formed practices and training sessions for his team that weren’t required by myself and the other coaches. I have a strong bond with many of the kids, all seniors this year, and to this day they still message me asking if I can come help them with some simple fundamentals. For me that is the reason I’ve stayed doing this because the connections I make with kids who want to better themselves and want my help to get them to strive to their goals makes me feel accomplished as a coach. We all know most teenagers start to get caught in the highschool partying stage and I’m proud to say that many of the kids I have coached and taught have been influenced by me enough to come to me with life problems and asked for guidance with tough things sometimes they are scared to go to their parents about. I set many goals for myself when helping kids but ultimately I want them to be good, stay out of trouble, and come to learn and have fun.

I have worked with students from the ages of 7-18 and levels from A-AAA and junior high and highschool level.
