Hello! My name is Grace and I am an experienced flutist and flute teacher. I have my Masters and Bachelors degrees in Music Education and have spent 16 years directing band and orchestra. I have been teaching flute students of all levels (beginning-advanced) and ages. My primary goal as a teacher is to help flutists set and achieve their musical goals all while building confidence in their flute playing! Every student learns and plays differently, and that's why teaching lessons is so exciting! If you are looking for lessons to help you succeed, to have fun, and to build confidence, I'm here for you! When searching for flute lessons online for my daughter, I was a bit skeptical. But Grace made me feel very comfortable. She walked me through her process and made everything easy to understand. Fast forward - my daughter absolutely loves her time with Grace. She cannot wait to get home on Fridays for her session! Grace works closely with my daughter, finding unique pieces for her to play that fit her style. She assigns homework and provides the one on one attention that my daughter needs to progress in her goals. Grace has exceeded my expectations! Thank you Grace!

Grace is amazing! My daughters playing has improved, she enjoys the lessons and she gains more confidence every day! Grace is also very reasonable about pre arranged schedule changes.

Grace is a supportive, nurturing flute instructor who supplies not only expert instruction, but resources to make sure your week of practice goes well. Practice follow-ups might include checklists for techniques, additional music, scale sheets, etc... I cannot recommend Grace highly enough for remote lessons.

I have been using Grace for my Flute lessons for the past several weeks. It has been 60 years since I took flute lessons in elementary school, so very rusty! Grace has been excellent in providing constructive feedback as I progress in my lessons. She is very patient, polite, and professional. Her use of music apps has been a tremendous help in our ability to share lesson plans, practice time vs. weekly goals, and real time lesson play and play alongs. She is also very focused on ensuring that I am playing with the appropriate timings. Woot woot Grace! Love my lessons! Thanks so much.

Grace is an exceptional flute teacher and an all around joy to be around!
