Hello! My name is Grace and I am an experienced flutist and flute teacher. I have my Masters and Bachelors degrees in Music Education and have spent 16 years directing band and orchestra. I have been teaching flute students of all levels (beginning-advanced) and ages. My primary goal as a teacher is to help flutists set and achieve their musical goals all while building confidence in their flute playing! Every student learns and plays differently, and that's why teaching lessons is so exciting! If you are looking for lessons to help you succeed, to have fun, and to build confidence, I'm here for you! Grace is an exceptional flute teacher and an all around joy to be around! I am a beginner and Grace has made the learning process fun and intuitive by providing weekly practice journals catered to my abilities and progress. Grace is such a wonderful teacher!! She is super friendly, kind, smart, and supportive! In the three months since I started lessons with her I have made tremendous progress and I cant thank her enough! Her practice journals are always organized and easy to understand so I know what to focus on until next time. And I feel very comfortable asking questions or suggestions. For any beginner flutist like me, Grace is a fantastic choice!!

I was very privileged to be able to work with Grace for years. She is a down to earth human who cares for each and every one of her students.
Her passion and skill in the realm of music is so impressive and it motivated me as a musician to be better. I have watched her work with a wide range of students from those that could very much perform at a conservatory to those that are at the beginning stages of their music exploration and her attention to detail, instruction, and motivation with each of her students has left me in awe. She wants the best for each of her students and will do what it takes to get you to perfect that section of a song or hit that high note! I could not recommend
