I'm a recognized, collected regional artist. I have work in collections at the Walker Art Center, The Minneapolis Institute of Art. The Minnesota Museum of American Art and other institutions around the country. I participate in commission work as well and have some comercial clients. I began professional work in 1980.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Accessing a students prior knowledge and have students rethink what a photograph is. Have students "make" photographs not "take" them through assignments and critiques.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taught as an adjuct at MCAD, CVA, Brown College, and now am teaching at Gordon Parks High School(St.Paul Public Schools)
