'Don't sing trained, sing free.'
I offer drop in lessons, audition prep, and capability of working with a large age range of students. I have had success with voice students ages 7-78 and piano students of all age ranges. My students currently perform with their schools, local community theatres, Alive and Kickin' Senior Group, as well as local small gigs. I teach all varieties of students from beginning to advanced.
I began teaching while still in undergraduate during the summer months in 2010. Since then I have acquired a Bachelor's and a Master's in Voice Performance with a Vocal Pedagogy emphasis from Luther College and University of Minnesota-Duluth respectively. I currently perform with Opera on Tap-Twin Cities, Exultate Chamber Choir, Vox Nova Chorale, Gregorian Singers, and Thursday Musical. Because of my wide variety of engagements I am able to teach a wide varienty of genres.
I do not claim to be a concert pianist, but I am a functional one and am able to teach beginning and early intermediate students.
I enjoy watching students grow and begin to lead their own progress. I absolutely love when they accomplish the goals they set out for themselves. I also love learning new repertoire, which is why I teach so many genres.

All types! From 6-78, beginners and advanced students!
TRY A LESSON. The only way you can know if you click with a teacher is to meet with them at least one time. Voice lessons in particular are incredibly vulnerable and personal, you want to make sure you and your teacher mesh!
