About
As a 3 sport athlete, current basketball coach, and certified personal trainer I bring a passion to sport and strength training that uniquely serves athletes needs.
Here's a snippet of my training principles/philosophy...
- Regardless of age or skill level, handwork is paramount for success
- Practice makes permanent, not perfect! So consistently doing the right actions will yield the desired results.
- As a basketball coach, I put emphasis on applicable skills and drills that raise player's IQ along with individual scoring tools.
- I am a strength and conditioning coach as well so I incorporate strength training to set a proper foundation for the game and significantly mitigate the risk of injury.
I use multiple tools to develop player's tools on the court and encourage the confidence necessary to compete at a high level in the current sports landcape. If an athlete is ready to put in the work, I am capable and more than willing to show them how to execute a plan for success and develop traits of the greats!
Atheletes across the country want to perform better but don't always understand how to take their game or strength to the next level...this is my mission! I have been coaching/training for 7 years and the most satisfying part of my job is watching an athlete apply themselves and grow accordingly.
I have worked with athletes from multiple backgrounds (basketball, football, soccer, power lifting, etc.) and I have developed methods to increase sport specific skill sets and a strength training protocol to help severely minimize the risk of non-contact injuries. I am a coach who doesn't require perfection but will push athletes beyond their comfort level in order to reach their desired result. My purpose is to take years of training/coaching experience and create an individualized approach for my athletes based on their individual strengths and weaknesses. Hard work doesn't get easier...we just get stronger!
