40 years of playing. 20 years teaching and I teach to make it fun, exciting and relaxing at the same time. Homework and practice is necessary as well as patience and determination. Dedicating to practice makes perfect! I look at it as passing down a gift I have so others may enjoy it as much as I have. Do what you love ❤️

Hello! My name is Joe Rogers and Ive been teaching guitar, bass, and drums for 6 years! I'm 27 years old and have been playing guitar for more than half of my life now. I live in St. Louis and have years on experience teaching guitar lessons in person. Teaches rythmic and melodic techniques to all kids K through 12 with particular focus on special needs children. Proficient in ASL and working with deaf, deaf blind and hard of hearing students.

Here at MH Music Academy we teach theory and application at the same time, to make it easier to understand why and how the two work together. In college, you learn them seperately and that makes it hard from some to merge the two later. I love teaching and watching students grow and become the musician that they desire to be.
