About

I grew up playing and practicing baseball 5-6 days a week with my club team from age 5-17. We won multiple Missouri state championships, won the CABA World Series in 2009. We were ranked at the triple A/Major level in the top 25 in the nation. 7 of us signed Division 1 or D2 scholarships. In high school I was a 3 year varsity letterman playing 3B/SS/2B and pitching. I received All conference awards my junior and senior year. My senior year I was also elected to play in the MO class 3 East vs west all star game, where I was named MVP of that game playing 3B/2B. I then went on to play my freshman year at William Jewel College before transferring to play football at Avila University the rest of my collegient career.

I will help my students achieve the goals they desire by constantly pushing them to give the best effort they can give at any time. We will do many repeatative drills to fine tune certain skills and then collectively put them together to make sure you have the skill set and mentality to excel at your position/defense and your batting.

Skills I can teach are outfielding, any infield position, pitching and batting both left and right handed batters.

I love seeing the athletes go and excel with their teams and their game. Being able to teach what I know to other athletes makes me happy because I get to pass on the coaching from all of the great coaches that taught me the game growing up and helped me succeed.

Frequently asked questions

Basic fundamental drills to get a idea of their skill set and level they are at. Then I will start by working with the areas of the game that need the most improvement and then fine tune the ones that the student may already be good at (Always can improve though).

Played both football and baseball in college where constant training took place to improve my skills. I have a pre-medicine Bachelors degree that helps me understand common injuries athletes may sustain while performing and the therapy and training needed to help the body recover.

1 hour = $50

1.5 hours = $70

2 hours = $80

Within that timeframe we can do all pitching, all fielding, all hitting, a combo of 2/3 or all three skills.

I started teaching while I was in college to make money on the side while going to school and playing football and baseball I had a couple of parents reach out and ask if I would give their kids lessons because they knew the success I had growing up playing. I also have a daughter that is 7 that over the years I have taught the game to, as well as a niece the same age that have developed a passion for the game.

I have worked with both boys and girls from age 6-18. Students that have played at different competitive levels, and high schoolers. I can work with both left handed and right handed students and teach them to switch hit as well.
