I have a Music degree from U.M.K.C. and am currently teaching Guitar at Maple Woods College in North Kansas City as well as Avila University. I have decades of experience teaching privately at several music stores in North Kansas City.
I play professionally for Weddings and private functions. I enjoy teaching Guitar to students at any level from beginners to the most serious players.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I teach privately I try to reach the student through the music they enjoy. Of course at the various Colleges at which I teach we have a required curriculum which entails reading music for the Guitar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Music Degree from U.M.K.C. as well as a degree in Spanish.
