In addtion to group classes, we offer private art lessons, for adults and children in a variety of different media.
Orange Easel private lessons are scheduled weekdays from 1:00pm-4:00pm and weeknights from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Each private lesson is 60-90 minutes long and is complete customized for the artist. We'll match you with an instructor who specializes in your desired media

Our Teaching Philosophy
Like playing a musical instrument or learning to dance ballet, one's ability to draw or paint is directly related to the instruction and time spent practicing. Orange Easel is committed to teaching artists to DO ART BETTER. Art isn't just something that we MAKE...Art is something we do.

How did you get started teaching?
Orange Easel School of Art opened in August of 2014. Owner Allison May Jensen--who had been teaching art lessons in her basement studio since 2012--saw a need in our community for an extracurricular fine arts program.
What types of students have you worked with?
Our school has classes for toddlers and preschoolers all the way through adults. We have instructors who specialize in each age group.
