About
I teach the study of light which is photography in all forms using the camera as a tool and Photoshop or LightRoom as a digital darkroom. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science Photography Degree with honors and over 8 years in the commercial realm has prepared me to help you. My courses range from beginner to advanced. Working individually or in a group. Experimentation, practice and light mixed with passion creates a unique style with each individual. In photography we don't take a picture, we create an image. See you in class!
I have been wildly passionate all my life about photography. So much so that when I had a life change in 2011, I decided to obtain my degree in Photography. Being the high energy and driven person I am; I didn't want just any degree, I went for the Bachelor of Science which aided me in learning all 9 forms of the photography, light waves, color temperature, color theory, all parts and functions of a DSLR camera and lens, the digital dark room, Lightroom, Photoshop, In-design, typography, graphic design, elements are art and principles of design, business management, business ethics, psychology, history, public speaking, marketing and so much more. I have enjoyed putting each of these skills into real world examples and experience. It has been a personal and professional journey of discovery and learning which I am very proud of and accomplished as a member of the National Technical Honor Society and Deans List graduate not only in the Bachelors program for the Associates as well and all accomplished while working full-time, raising a family and being a mature learner. If I can do it; So Can You!
Seeing a visual discovery through each persons unique perspective gives me a sense of accomplishment knowing Ive helped someone grow and learn.. Lets continue the exploration together. You'll be surprised at all there is to learn about the study of light; Photography!
