The best part of teaching someone to do something you have such a passion for or love is watching them start to love it and build a passion for it themselves. I started pitching was I was about 9 years old and I played travel ball all throughout my pitching career and now that I am unable to play the game I would love to pass my knowledge on to young kids who want to play and are eager to learn.
I have only taught a few kids how to pitch and this is my first time trying to start a business with it but from past experiences of teaching it is all about the graditude and watching someone become successful at something you taught them how to do. The work is tough and you have to be willing to put in a lot of work but the end result is what makes it all worth it for the student and me the teacher.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start out slow and teach them the basic machanics needed to be good. We will start with how to hold the ball for a basic fast pitch, learn how to snap the ball into our glove. Then we will move on to throwing the ball half way which I call it a half rounds and once we have that down we will move on to footing and then putting it all together and pitching. It takes a lot of practice and it will take a few lessons to get to the full blown pitching part but I feel confident in myself to get us there. Once we get the fast ball down we will move on to different pitches and continue to progress.
