Dennis is definitely a professional. He has course work already prepared for your starting level and it is logically set out for the student. Dennis is understanding and explains concepts so that they are easily understood. I walked out of my first lesson saying “this time I’m really going to learn to play guitar”! I recommend Dennis highly .

Frequently asked questions

As a professional music educator, I start with an evaluation of where they are on the guitar and what they identify as their goals. Then I utilize my curriculum to custom make a plan for their learning and styles. I monitor their progress weekly and encourage them to practice the assignments given to improve their skills and knowledge.

I have 30 years of full time experience as a teacher in private and classroom settings. I have a BS degree in secondary education with a minor in music. I have taught hundreds of students and over a dozen teachers how to teach music.
