Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As a professional music educator, I start with an evaluation of where they are on the guitar and what they identify as their goals. Then I utilize my curriculum to custom make a plan for their learning and styles. I monitor their progress weekly and encourage them to practice the assignments given to improve their skills and knowledge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years of full time experience as a teacher in private and classroom settings. I have a BS degree in secondary education with a minor in music. I have taught hundreds of students and over a dozen teachers how to teach music.
