David Carlstrom
About
Bio:
My name is Dylan “Heso” Carlstrom. I am a college student at Lindenwood University. I am 19 years old , and I have a great appreciation for the game of basketball. Due to Covid and knee problems, I never really got to play in high school. Although my time as a player was cut short, I look to help coach and guide students of the game as they learn and develop as a player. Due to my age I can bring a good connection between me and the kids I work with.
Coaching/Training:
I have an experience in coaching, training, and mentoring. I specialize in basketball, I typically work with kids at the beginner to intermediate skill level. I have been working with kids for about a year now.Along with working on strengthening skills, I can provide other tips and advice when it comes to roles and strategies when on the court. Something that I would say I excel in is being relatable and understanding, many kids struggle with confidence and what their “role” is on the court, that is something I really emphasize in my coaching. I have worked with kids just getting started, at the aau level, and D1 hopefuls. I have studied advanced film for well over 3 years and would describe my coaching style as a blend between traditional and modern techniques.
Location: I live on Lindenwood Campus in Saint Charles.
