About
Art students wil learn and experience creative art techniques from a retired High School Art Teacher. My service stands out with individual (teacher/student) art lessons. We begin where you are. No experience necessary for the novice artist. However experienced artist are welcome. I work to develop each students creative nuance in the media of choice. Abstracts, Landscapes and portraits are taught at individual interests and pace.
I enjoy working with people who are genuinly interested in art. My students are from every walk of life. We develop a teacher / student professional working relationship and set attainable goals that will foster continued creativity.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically ask questions about interest, experience and goals. Most students have no experience but willingness to try and staying open to possiblities helps as art lessons are a process. I teach the principals and elements of art which helps to develop techniques to creativity. I offer simple lessons in various media until the student decides which medium is preferable.
