I have been taking photographs as a hobbiest for over 20 years and professionally for over 10 years. I am proficient in adobe lightroom and photoshop. I can teach basic digital SLR skills as well as advanced skills. Topics could include lighting, exposure, and composition as well as portraiture, landscape and architecure photography and macro photography.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It really depends on the skillset and the type of photography on which the student wants to focus. Every student is different so I would find out the answers to the questions listed below first and then go from there.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $85 per hour and are offered in 2 hour increments. I find that a single hour of instruction just scratches the surface so private lessons are booked in 2 hour blocks minimum.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
