About
Steve Grzyb grew up in West Virginia where he spent many days as a child exploring and learning to appreciate the beauty of the hills, valleys, woods, and farmlands of the Appalachian Mountains. It was perfectly normal back then for kids to take off exploring in the morning and not return until supper time. No matter where he is today the rich colors and smokey air of the fall always creates a yearning to go back home. Although he always had a knack for drawing, Steve really didn’t discover art until he was a junior in high school in Cleveland, Ohio, where he won a National Scholastic Art Award for some of his first works. Steve Grzyb spent many years as a creative marketing professional. Mr. Grzyb's work has won local and regional creative marketing awards, plus the International TV & Film Festival of New York Award, the National Broadcast Promotion/ Marketing Executives Gold Medallion Award, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Award, and National Telly awards. He currently has his own company, SG Media Marketing, where he consults TV Stations in creative marketing. Steve has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marshall University. He has a large collection of drawings and paintings in a variety of medium that he created over the last 40 years. Steve is a Juried member of The Greater St. Louis Art Association and The Best of Missouri Hands. He was a Board Member and the past President of The Greater St. Louis Art Association.
Steve’s last name, pronounced “Grr-zib”, means mushroom in Polish.
I am very passionate about and proud about my art. I believe everyone was born with special creative talents. Sometimes as we grow older we lose those talents because we don't nurture and grow them. If you have a passion for art I would like to help you find your creative child again.
