What is your typical process for working with a new student?
There are many ways to approach teaching. I encourage the student to bring something they are currently working on. We can use their current work to progress their study.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensive training. Classically educated in both the Italian Renaissance and French Academic methods of drawing and oil painting.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$45 per person per hour.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners to advanced artists. Everyone is welcome.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Learning is a slow process. Try to enjoy the process and remember that skill comes wtih a consistent practice, not in a day.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What their goals are. What mediums they prefer (oil, acrylic, pencil, etc.).
