About
M Kat Hill is a mixed-media artist whose work is an exploration of texture and chemistry. Born in the Northeast and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she moved to North Carolina in 2000 to attend graduate school at UNC. Her practice is defined by a playful curiosity for unconventional materials, creating a unique fusion of her diverse geographical roots and her life in the South.
I encourage my students to take chances on their canvas & have fun with the process.
