About
My name is Courtney and I am a NC licensed K-12 art teacher. My artwork has been exhibited in over 30 exhibitions and my techniques and research has been published in 3 academic journals. Along with this I have earned a running total of $20,000 in state creative grants. I decided to go down the teaching path because not only do I enjoy creating art, but I also enjoy sharing my knowledge with artists of all ages and skill levels!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are encouraged to visit the studio prior to scheduling their first paid lesson. New students can participate in a free 15-30 minute meet and greet session where we will discuss expectations along with short-term and long-term goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed NC K-12 art teacher. My license can be viewed online by searching my full name on the NCDPI "Public Licensure Lookup." A printed copy of my license is posted in the studio.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies depending on the art material and session length.
