I'm a firm believer that every person has the right to self-defense. As our world becomes more harsh, I'm encouraged by the new firearm owners in our state and country. I have attained instructor certifications from the National Rifle Association, the United States Concealed Carry Association, GLOCK and the NC Department of Justice to teach firearm safety, home defense fundamentals and concealed carry courses.
I love working with folks that are new to firearms. With some history and hands-on work, all the mystery is removed. Providing a strong focus on safety makes for a pleasant learning environment. With 14 grandchildren, we're all about safe use, safe handling and safe storage of firearms.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work from a series of questions that help me understand my students motivation to seek out firearm instruction. With this information I tailor a class or series of classes that will meet their objectives for safety, accuracy, speed and knowledge.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
USCCA certified instructor in Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.
NRA Basic Pistol instructor.
NC DoJ Concealed Carry instructor.
GLOCK Law Enforcement instructor.
10 year US Army veteran.
