Over the years Soar Soccer Training helped to transform my game. Not only did it help me to improve my touches on the ball like shooting, passing, and dribbling, but also my movements off the ball, my quickness, and my leadership qualities. Soar Soccer Training always delivers elite and challenging sessions that ensure I can continue to sharpen my game.

Soar soccer training is an embodiment of the professionalism of its leader Steven Okai. I was fortunate to be a product of soar soccer training a few years ago and it put me in one of the best shapes of my life.

Indeed, the training I received from Stephen was on the cutting edge of soccer coaching today. However, what sets Stephen apart as one of the best coaches I have ever worked with is his ability to understand his players needs and learning styles, thereby facilitating transformational training experiences under his mentorship. I started working with Stephen during my division one college soccer career. When he and I met, I was at a low point, struggling to get over a serious knee injury that left me feeling like a shadow of myself on the field. Using his knowledge of the sport, Stephen designed personalized, challenging training sessions that helped me rebuild my technique and athleticism. A master at connecting with his players, Stephen quickly learned how to push me, and each session got me to work harder than I ever had before. Outside of training, Stephen provided me with mentorship to help me overcome the mental hurdles I was facing in my recovery from injury, and his faith in me helped me feel confident, indomitable, and fearless on the pitch. In turn, I grew more as a person and a player while working with Stephen than I had in any other period in my life. Thanks to this growth, I won the starting center back spot on my team, and earned awards for my physical and mental toughness, leadership, and play. My only regret is that I did not get to start working with Stephen earlier in my career. Coach O’kai set up and implemented activities that were individualized to my child’s needs. My child is a goalie. His training activities incorporated traditional goalie skills for defending the goal but also skills to improve response on the ball when distributing and clearing. He worked the entire hour, and the rigor was high but appropriate. He gave informative and relevant feedback. My daughter feels very confident that he will take her game to the next level in time for soccer season.

Stephen is very knowledgeable about the game and knows what it takes to play at an elite level. He is very personable and truly loves the game. I have 2 kids that train with Stephen and they love it!!
