Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The typical process I have with a student is a verbal assessment with the parent and player... If there is current film or a current game going on that I can view or attend helps as well to give a thorough assessment of what needs to be improved... Everything is fundamental and decison-making based...We have to set goals, long-term and short...Then we discuss expectaions with both the parent and player...After that I believe we can develop a plan that will serve best for progression...
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played High school, College and Some pro basketball... I have coached AAU, middle school, high school and college ball... I have been training with this business for over 10 years in my area... I have had pros, college standouts and even coaches come through my program... I also have documented footage of players I have worked with on youtube, facebook and instagram... I recently took on my first head coaching job this year in Irwin, NC at Cape Fear Christain Academy where I took a team with a losing season last year to 24-8... 9-1 in the conference... Player of the year... and mulitple All-conference and All-State kids.. and my 2 sr's got offers from a 4 year school...I also have a background of working in level 3 group homes with at-risk kids for 5 years.... I have only known service when dealing with my purpose... I guess my course is my resume...

What types of students have you worked with?
Brandon Ingram, Brandon Childress, Dennis Smith Jr, Joey Baker, John Michael Wright, Josh Nickelberry, Greg Gant, JJ Smith the list goes on and on!!!!!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Coaching a team full of kids that didnt have big names and were all passed on... All came from circumstances where their coaches didnt have vision for their talent... To start a program and have the success we have had was a blessing from God... I loved seeing my kids learn how to win....
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure its a good fit... Dont shade away from a teacher that makes you uncomfortable... And pray about it.... Good energy is good energy....
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
First do your background check on the teacher and make sure they are who they say you are.. and the product you are investing in is what it is...
