  • The Johnson's

We love how Kelly uses her expertise to modify the different moves to accommodate her client's ability level. Kelly is very patient and very caring! We enjoy the class.

  • Lakisha C

Her spirit flows naturally. When I enter the room I sense peace tranquility and pure essence of serenity! I’ve cried during mediation session because I felt like everything I needed was within those walls!

  • Jalisa Davis

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to have consultations before working with private students. We set aside about 30 mins to discuss goals and schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I trained under Michelle Young, C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, E-RYT-500 of My Vinyasa Practice, and received a 200-CYT in September 2021.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Prices depend on class type- private or group.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching because I wanted to share my love for Yoga as a healing tool to my community and beyond.

What types of students have you worked with?

Humans.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Each month we have a Yoga and Bruch at the studio. It's a time for us to get together to practice, have conversation and share a meal. It's always such a fun time!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

While looking for a Yoga teacher I would suggest finding someone that you connect with, someone that understands your goals and is teaching YOUR Yoga. Not every teacher teaches the same or has the same take/perspective on Yoga. It's important that the student and teacher align in this regard.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Understanding your goals and what you expect to gain from your practice.
