As a female-owned art business, I primarily work with girls and women to strengthen their sense of community and connectivity through creativity. I have been a professional working artist for more than 20 years. I have a master's degree in Art Education and a license to teach k-12. Not only have I taught college level art, I have worked as a curator and art consultant. Teaching private art lessons and being a mentor is a great passion of mine. I love to see the growth and development in art students of all ages.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start with questioning the student, no matter their age, on their personal goals. I want to make sure we are working towards their vision. If they don't have a plan, we work together to decide how we will begin the creative process. We go from there making the session fun, stress-free and filled with personal success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in Art History, a Masters Degree in Art Education and a license to teach k-12. I have been a working artist for more than 30 years and have taught ages 9 - 99 in all different settings from the classroom, to college, to retirement communities.

I started teaching over 30 years ago and have been an artist for nearly 40 years.
