Pitching Lessons
About
I offer insight from a local and professional background. Being from the Raleigh area, I have a knowledge of schools and programs in the area to further assist player development and opportunities. Playing professional baseball for 6 years has given me an insight and an eye for skill development in pitchers.
I enjoy helping young athletes achieve their goals and helping them realize their potential. If I can pass on the knowledge that I have to younger pitchers, I feel that I can help them long term.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I look at movement patterns and assess balance and body control. Then we look at arm action, how the ball comes out of the hand, and go from there.
Hands on approach and preach quality over quantity.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played collegiately at Radford University and professionally for the KC Royals for 6 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I price each lesson out at $70 per 45 minute session. I do have offers for packages and group sessions that will give a discount.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to give lessons during my offseasons from pro ball, turned into a great opportunity for myself to stay in throwing shape and I also found that I have a knack for molding young pitchers.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and skill sets. My main clients have a solid feel for throwing the baseball and can functionally move on the mound. Intermediate to advanced skilled players for the most part.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research before you blindly follow someone’s lead. BaseballReference.com has all the information you need on a player. Ask around if anyone has worked with the instructor before.
