About this pro

My sessions are geared on fundamentals of the game. This helps the player with their basketball IQ. During these sessions I push them to practice at a high level.

I enjoy watching the players I train grow on and off the court.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first day I like to just get to know the player. Go through drills just so I can see where we need to focus on. Most importantly talk to them to see where they want to do with the game of basketball.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to Hargrave Military Academy for my senior year of high school and played on the post grad team. I was ranked #2 prep player.

Played college at NC State University. I was a 4 year starter finished my career #25 with 1,355 points and #8 with 833 rebounds. I was captain for junior and senior seasons. First Team All Freshman team. Several player of the week awards and team honors.

Played professional in Lithuania for Zaligris. Zaligris competes in the Euroleague which is the highest level in Europe.

Played for Rockford Lightning in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). Played half the season and won the Rookie of the Year award. In the playoffs is where I got hurt.

How did you get started teaching?

My love for the game. After my career was ended due to knee injury, I still wanted to be apart of the game. I played at a high level and coached by great coaches , now it is time for me to give back to players who want to learn.

What types of students have you worked with?

i work with all players boys, girls ages 6 and up. Who ever wants to work and get better with basketball.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure the coach has your interest at best.
