About this pro

My service standouts because I use a different approach to show my students the correlation between basketball drills and skills to every day life situations. The students can use the same teachings of the sport to deal with self- development and interpersonal skills. They walk away with the reassurance that any goal is achievable with practice and patience.

I enjoy the reflection that my students now see in the mirror. They see themselves as worthy, important. I am not just teaching a sport but giving love to where some may not feel loved. I am giving structure where some may not have structure. I am rebuilding the bridge to broken promises; and in return my students make me feel that I am doing everything right, everything that I am put here to do.

Chan has worked with my son for the longest. Even with his stubborn “I know it all” nature she was able to push him to a better player both defensively and offensively. His footwork is much better and his drive to the basket is much better than most kids his age. Chan has always been on time, consistent, and dedicated to her trainees.

Coach Chan was very patient with my nephew because he had no prior basketball training. She first focused on the fundamentals of the game explaining to him everything from how to hold the ball, dribble the ball and the correct form to shoot the ball. Coach Chan also focused on teaching him that winning is not everything and to really take time to enjoy the sport overall. I enjoyed working with Coach Chan because she was very patient with my nephew as well as knowledgeable about the sport itself. She puts all her focus into the children and is very dedicated to the craft. She was a very easy person to work with and I am grateful for all her help. We look forward to continuing to work with Coach Chan this spring.

Chan is very professional and passionate about her craft. She really enjoys working with kids and has a lot more patience than other coaches that I have experienced. Chan is dedicated and is ultimately compassionate about the kids she works with on and off the court. Thanks for all that you do!!!
