I liked that Coach Vern was motivational and pushed us to Limits I never thought I would go gonna go. She is supportive and encouraging. She’s is always there for you on the field/court and off. I love how she always gave 110% which made me do the same.

Coach Vern is a hardworking, loyal, enthusiastic coach with a heart full of gold. She is very knowledgeable but knows her limitations. She has a life long commitment to learning and improving her craft. She continually finds clinics and videos to increase her knowledge base. She encourages her athletes to attend and view with her. She sticks to the basics but is always finding new ways to improve the efforts of the athletes she works with. Coach Vern realizes the importance of the family as the support base for the athlete. She educates the entire family on the needs of the athlete-nutrition, sleep so there is top performance. She is committed to being ever present at practices as well as track meets no matter how far. Often times she is doing so at her own expense. She is of the highest moral standard and is the reason my daughter is a National Champion.
