About
My service stands out because I have been studying calligraphy for decades and have been a teacher since 2010. I am proficient in Copperplate, Uncial, Black Letter, Formal Italic, Brush Italic, and many other hands.
I enjoy the interaction with my students. Each student is different and learns differently. I try to understand that and take the time to instruct one-on-one, even in a group session.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I ask how someone wants to use calligraphy. Will it be as a hobby or does the student want to start a business? Is there a specific style they are interested in? That will tell me how to proceed to let them know what tools to use and what type of lettering to learn. Then we will set up either private sessions for them or Zoom classes. Handouts and exemplars made by me for the specific type of lettering they will be learning are given to each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied calligraphy for decades and have taught it to students all over the world since 2010.
