About
I am unique in my bellydance performance, as I often incorporate other dance styles. I have a lifetime of experience with different dance styles, so while I focus on teaching traditional bellydance, I sometimes fuse other dance styles into the choreography I teach and perform.
With Reiki, I have had many clients who have testimonials of complete healing of some very serious conditions. While I do not promise results, nor practice medicine, diagnose, or make any medical claims; I have had clients report that they have experienced improved wellness after a session or two, and that they feel totally well after several sessions. I also offer a short reading with each session, at no additional charge. Readings are also available on their own, without the Reiki session, but I recommend having them together.
I enjoy watching my clients move through their healing process, and I love being a part of their healing. I love forming bonds of friendship with my dance students, and watching them develop as dancers, while some who have had issues with weight or body image, gain confidence. Sometimes weight loss is part of this, sometimes it is not needed. I feel my soul celebrate when a woman in my class wears a skirt for the first time, or make-up, or a cut-off shirt to show her belly for the dance in class!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what goals and experience the student has, and what level of confidence. Then we go step by step from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A lifetime of dance training, including three years of bellydance training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. $60 per month.
How did you get started teaching?
I've been learning and performing dance my whole life, and a friend was persistent in encouraging me to teach. Finally I began teaching in 2012, and felt very natural to do so.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging in age from 4 to 80 (most between 20 and 60), of all body types, with and without experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my favorite events was after my students worked so hard on their dance moves, learning choreography, and costumes/makeup, and forming sister-like bonds of friendship; and they performed with me at a music festival. I was so proud of them, and we had such a fun and amazing time, it was unforgettable.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Speak to another student(s) who is taking or has taken her class, to see what their experience with her has been like. A quality teacher is happy to provide a reference, when asked for. Look at her reviews. Be sure to find a quality teacher who not only makes class fun, but has great results with her students.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you have any pain or limitations?
