Artworks/ The Studio

I teach a variety of painting and drawing classes to many different age levels, starting at 6 years. My classes are set up as an open studio, very casual atmosphere to give a welcoming attitude to learning new skills. Art is a bit different from other subjects and full of surprises as a person learns new things about drawing and painting.

I enjoy watching someone develop into a good comfort zone as they create their art. It is very satisfying to help someone develop thier skills, and enjoy their results.

I have been teaching for over thirty years in the Raleigh area. I studied art in Va, with a BFA from Va. Commomwealth University in Richmond Va. I have shown my work in a number of exhibits and continue to do so, as well as continue to paint and draw.
