Individual Soccer Training
About
I aim to bring my 20+ years of experience with soccer into every session. After playing soccer at a Division I college and playing overseas, I have experience working with many players who excel in different areas of the game. In my sessions, each player will have an enjoyable time mastering technique with dribbling, passing, and shooting drills that fit their needs and challenge their current limitations. We will continue to work on the small details that will take the player to the next level.
I love working with players who are driven and have passion for the game. I am very sociable and enjoy talking with my players about different aspects of their game along with professional players/matches. We will joke at times but always take our trainings seriously, leaving with a better understanding of the game and techniques required to reach the next level.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get an understanding of the player's strengths and weaknesses before getting started. This typically involves a conversation with the parents or the player where we come to a focus for our sessions moving forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played soccer for 20 years.

How did you get started teaching?
I began coaching while I was in highschool in 2013. SportHQ is a futsal facility that held academy sessions, and I coached futsal players. After that, I have been involved in soccer camps during my time in college, and I recently got involved in 2020 because I still have such a passion for the game and teaching the upcoming generaton of footballers.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with players of all kind, ages 8-16. Technique is pretty standard across positions, but passing patterns and dribbling variations work more effectively for different positions.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently had the opportunity to run a small session in Apex and it was very enjoyable to be back on the pitch after some time off due to injury. I look forward to working with new players this year!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Have a good, honest idea of what you need to improve on in order to make the private sessions worthwhile. Dream big and stay consistent.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are my strengths/weaknesses?
What are my goals in soccer?
Am I willing to sacrifice certain things in order to reach those goals?
