About
Jenny Henningsen is an elementary school teacher and art instructor. When she is not teaching, she practices her own art ranging from painting, paper collage, sewing, and furniture refinishing. Being creative and bit bossy has always been a part of her personality, so teaching art is a perfect fit. She is most pleased about her creative workshops which provide guests with a safe and supportive environment to explore and create art.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I provide materials for the first few sessions and we determine what the student will need in his/her art kit for the second session.
In the first session, I will teach a basic project from my collection (chosen by the student)
All future sessions will be spent working on projects chosen by the student.
I also offer group lessons, and this is a fun way to spend time with friends and family while enjoying art.
