Hi there, my name is Jesse Andreasen. I've been playing guitar for over 30 years and teaching it for over 15. I have a lot of experience, insight and resources to offer students of all ages, from beginner to advanced levels. My teaching caters to a student's personal goals and interests, according to their particular learning style. I recommend a balance of learning technique, music reading, music theory, songs in various styles, and improvisation. However, I will never force students to learn something that does not fit their goals and interests. I always do my best to go the extra mile in order to support a student. This may mean helping a student choose a new instrument at the music store or attending a performance of a student's newly formed band.
